This Trademark Usage Policy will show you the proper use of Affinegy,
Inc. trademarks and logos.
USE THE CORRECT SYMBOL
When using any Affinegy trademarks, you should use the ™ symbol. Failure to do so dilutes our trademark
protection. In text it is only necessary to annotate the first instance of the
trademark in a given document or piece. After the first instance you may drop
the ™ after the word. When
using logos, always include the ™ in every instance. Logos may only be
used under license from Affinegy.
DO NOT ALTER AFFINEGY LOGOS
When using an Affinegy brand, never vary the spelling, add or delete hyphens,
make one word two, or use a possessive or plural form of the Affinegy brand.
When using an Affinegy logo, never modify the design, add or delete any
elements or words, change any colors or proportions.
THE AFFINEGY LOGO
The Affinegy logo must be used as a stand-alone icon without other logos and
trademarks associated with it.
AFFINEGY BRANDS & THIRD PARTY
TRADEMARKS
Do not combine the Affinegy brands with third party trademarks. Third party
names and logos cannot be used in conjunction with Affinegy brands and logos in
product names except to connote that Affinegy technology is included. Affinegy
brands and logos may not be used as part of the product name for any third
party product.
PRODUCT PACKAGING
Special attention should be devoted to the correct use of Affinegy brands and
logos on product packaging. Any Affinegy brand that is displayed on packaging
should be attributed with the appropriate trademark symbol the first time it
appears on each side of the package. Any Affinegy logo that is displayed on
packaging should be attributed with the appropriate trademark symbol each time
it appears on the package.
THIRD PARTY LICENSORS
Some Affinegy products may include technology used under license from third
party licensors. You may not use any such third party trademark without express
permission from the owner.
RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
Affinegy, Inc. is the owner of all right, title, and interest in the Affinegy
brand and logos. No person or entity may reproduce or use (or authorize the
reproduction or use of) the Affinegy brands and logos in any manner other than
expressly authorized by Affinegy. Unauthorized use of Affinegy brands and logos
is strictly prohibited.
Affinegy,
Inc. may, at its sole
discretion, modify the Affinegy brands and logos at any time. In order to assure compliance and quality of
control, Affinegy may request that you provide samples of any marketing,
advertising, or other material that includes the Affinegy brands and logos.
